Refund policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

  • refurbished sets you buy in our shop (Part A of our Terms and Conditions), see sections 2 and 3;
  • our set restoration service (Part B of our Terms and Conditions), see sections 4 and 5.

Selling your LEGO® parts to us is covered by section 20 of our Terms and Conditions.

Part A: Refurbished sets

2. Right of withdrawal

  1. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
  2. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. If you ordered several sets in one order and they are delivered separately, the period starts on the day you took possession of the last set.
  3. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

    by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form in section 6, but this is not obligatory.
  4. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication about exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

3. Returning a set

How to return a set

  • Please return the set unopened. You may take it out of the shipping box, but the set's own packaging should still be sealed.
  • If your set has been opened and you still want to return it, write to us at hello@sortabrick.com. We will find the best solution together.
  • Each set is sold as one product. You can return the set as a whole only, not individual parts.
  • To withdraw, just tell us in any form, for example with a short email to hello@sortabrick.com. You do not need to use our withdrawal form.
  • We then send you a return label. Sets come back to our office: J. Jasinskio g. 16, LT-03163 Vilnius, Lithuania.
  • Send the set back within 14 days of telling us that you withdraw.
  • We cover the cost of returning the set.

Your refund

  • We refund everything you paid, including the delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal.
  • We refund with the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise with you. The refund costs you nothing.
  • We may wait with the refund until we have received the set back, or until you show us that you have sent it, whichever comes first.

30 days for unopened sets

  • In addition to the 14 days, we accept unopened sets for another 16 days, so 30 days from delivery in total. See section 7 of our Terms and Conditions.
  • For returns during these extra 16 days, we refund the price of the set. The delivery cost is not refunded.

Part B: Set restoration service

4. Right of withdrawal

  1. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
  2. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
  3. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Br1ck, UAB (Sort A Brick), J. Jasinskio g. 16, LT-03163 Vilnius, Lithuania, hello@sortabrick.com) by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form in section 6, but this is not obligatory.
  4. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication about exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

5. Withdrawing from the service

How to withdraw

  • To withdraw, just tell us in any form, for example with a short email to hello@sortabrick.com. You do not need to use our withdrawal form.
  • If you withdraw before you make the first payment, it costs nothing. If your parcel is already with us, we send your LEGO® parts back, and you pay the return shipping.

Once we have started

  • Your payment for a step is your request for us to start right away. When you pay, you also confirm that you know you lose your right of withdrawal once that step is complete.
  • If you withdraw while a step is in progress, you pay for the part of the work we have already done.
  • Once a step is complete, you can no longer withdraw from it.

Your refund

  • We refund what you paid, minus the work already done, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal.
  • We refund with the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise with you. The refund costs you nothing.

6. Withdrawal form

You do not need this form. A short email is enough. If you prefer to use the form, fill it in and send it to hello@sortabrick.com.
