Our promise

Every set we refurbish for sale or restore for its owners meets the same quality standard: it is clean, verified to be 100% complete for building, and contains only genuine LEGO® parts.

Every refurbished set has a story. It began as an original set, bought or given as a gift and enjoyed by its previous owners. We then acquired it, carefully cleaned it, replaced any missing or unsuitable parts with genuine LEGO parts, checked the set part by part, and packed it neatly.

Because most parts are pre-loved, they may show normal signs of use, such as minor scratches, slight discolouration or colour variation, worn prints, or slightly looser connections. Product photos show the actual set you are buying, not stock images, so you can see its condition before purchasing.

Clean

Every set is carefully washed at low temperatures. Heavily soiled parts receive an extra round of cleaning. Any part that cannot be cleaned properly is replaced.

Some traces of previous use cannot be removed safely. A faint marker dot or glue mark may remain here and there. If it doesn’t significantly affect appearance and removing it could damage the part, we leave it as is.

Older white and light grey parts may show slight discolouration, parts from different production years may vary slightly in tone, and transparent parts may look a little cloudy. These signs of age cannot be washed away, but they do not affect the build.

All used stickers are removed because their condition varies too much, and dirt can sometimes collect underneath partially peeled stickers.

Complete

When we say a refurbished set is 100% complete for building, we mean it includes all parts needed to build the model according to the original building instructions, subject only to exceptions described below.

Equivalent parts

Almost all pre-loved sets arrive to us from their previous owners with some parts missing. We complete them by sourcing and adding missing parts from BrickLink sellers or our own warehouse. In rare cases, when an identical original part cannot be sourced, we may replace it with a functionally equivalent LEGO part that looks slightly different or comes in a slightly different colour. A generic minifigure may also be replaced with a similar-looking LEGO minifigure.

Stickers

Replacement sticker sheets are not currently included, although we plan to offer them in the future. Sets that originally used stickers may therefore look slightly different from the original box art. This can also make the stated part count of a refurbished set differ slightly from the original, as sticker sheets may be included in the LEGO Group’s official part count.

Pre-assembled parts

Some parts may also arrive pre-assembled — for example, a window frame with glass, a wheel with a tyre, or an assembled minifigure. For part-count purposes, these are counted as their individual components rather than as a single piece.

Verified

As a part of the refurbishment process each and every part is checked to be a genuine LEGO® part and to be safe for play, meaning all non-LEGO parts and damaged parts are removed and replaced by the proper ones.

Before packing, every set is laid out and photographed, all parts visible. Those part-layout photos go on the product page, so you can see the actual parts of the set you are buying, and judge their condition before you decide. Bear in mind, that the images of the assembled models are reused with similar sets and can differ from actual set you are buying.

For our oldest sets especially, parts can come from different production periods and differ in colour tone or mould version; the photos show exactly what you'll get.

The guarantee

Every refurbished set is covered by the Sort A Brick Guarantee: it is clean, 100% complete for building, and verified to contain genuine LEGO® parts only.

We use both automated and manual checks to make sure every set meets our quality standard. But mistakes can happen. If a part is missing, damaged, or not genuine, let us know and we’ll replace it free of charge, including shipping.

The guarantee is valid for 45 days from delivery and is in addition to your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.

Behind the promise

Our goal from day one has been simple: machines should clean, identify, and sort LEGO® parts — not people.

We invested countless engineering hours and millions of euro into building an AI-powered brick-sorting technology and continue to improve it. Where the system cannot yet complete a step on its own, our team steps in until the technology can take over.
