Yes. Every card is a single physical set with its own condition photos and price. When it's sold, it's gone — though some sets return in future batches.
No. The cart is a wishlist only. A set locks for 15 minutes when you start checkout — until then anyone can buy it.
Type 3 photos show the exact unit you'll receive — its actual parts laid out — alongside representative photos of the bag and built model.
Every set is verified complete and covered by Our promise: if a brick is ever missing, we replace it.
Restoration
We accept and restore sets from regular LEGO® bricks and LEGO® Technic elements. We can't process broken or heavily soiled bricks, non-LEGO® items, or electronic components like batteries.
Unsupported items are removed, packaged separately, and returned with your bricks. Standard sorting fees apply based on their weight.
You can. Breaking them into individual pieces helps with shipping efficiency, but we'll disassemble them if needed.
Three easy ways: weigh them on a scale, measure your box (volume × 0.25), or send us a photo and we'll estimate it for you.
If less than 25% of a restorable set's parts are missing, we'll aim to source the missing bricks for an additional cost.
Yes! We can restore sets all the way back to 1954. Where a vintage piece is no longer available, we may substitute a modern replacement.
We maximise restoration by prioritising sets with fewer missing parts, larger sets, and the combinations that use the most of your bricks.
Any bricks not used in set restoration are sorted by colour and size and returned in categorised groups.
Yes — you receive your own bricks, cleaned and sorted into restorable sets. Every order is handled individually; we never mix customers' collections.
We honestly don't know. We're an independent service provider and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or in any way connected to the LEGO Group.
Sell your bricks
The first transfer (50%) is based on the total weight of the shipment without packaging. We then sort and analyse it to determine the actual weight of LEGO® bricks — the final amount is based on that, and the remainder is sent as the second transfer. Example: a 5 kg shipment with 4.75 kg of actual LEGO® bricks pays out €47.50 in total.
Once we receive your shipment we weigh it and transfer 50% — usually within 1 business day of arrival. We pay the remainder after sorting, which typically takes 5–7 business days.
Just enter the approximate weight in the form. We'll review it and get in touch to agree on the best shipping solution with you (e.g. multiple boxes).
Pour the bricks into a sturdy sealed bag, place it in a strong cardboard box, fill any empty space so nothing shifts, and seal the box securely with packing tape.
We use the bricks to develop and test our sorting system. Afterwards, most of them return to play — sorted and ready for a new round in the playroom.
Sort A Brick is based in Lithuania, an EU member state, where our automated sorting system is developed. That's why purchased bricks ship there — to train, test and refine the sorting process — before being sorted into new sets and returned to play.
